Been coming here all the time and this has been a waste of £30 The curry’s where more like soup than a curry and I kid you not there was 6 small pieces of chicken and 7 small pieces of lamb sorry one bit was a bit off fat and grizzle in each off the curry’s and I mean the meat was really small it was more like watery curry sauce and rice And the portion was really bad as well you normally get a near full tray sorry but half a tray for the money we spent was a joke This has put me off using the curry pot again

First time we have ordered from Curry pot and very nice food

Upon arrival collection was on time and staff were lovely and welcoming but that’s where the good ended. After arriving home to unpack the order we were beyond disappointed. Each curry was bland, no flavour and all tasted alike. Worst curry I have ever tasted. We thought we would give this place a try and hopefully find a new Indian takeaway for us to use but that’s not the case. The food unfortunately was that bad it had to be binned, the only thing ok was the poppadoms. The curry was as thin as water with hardly any meat. The chips were wet & soggy. The coconut rice well that didn’t taste of anything, be aswell eating boiled and it resembled egg rice. The nan looked undercooked, stodgy in the centre and crumbled everywhere. This was for myself, wife and elderly disabled gran but due to this I had to make my gran another meal as I wouldn’t expect anyone to eat this. It’s a shame as Indian food is our favourite type of takeaway but this experience has put us right off. I certainly would not expect an order of that price to be as bad as it was, it’s unexplainable.

Food was lukewarm even though it was collected 20 minutes after being ordered. Saag had a white residue on top. Tikka and rice were tasty apart from needing reheated. Food was either already portioned into microwave tubs and not reheated properly or cooked too soon before your stated collection time.
Nicky
Paneer over cooked lacked sauce and flavour

Food was tasting different from the usual we normally have. Biryani sauce was sour and not great.

Food was cold. Chips were limp and didn’t feel fresh. As we are only half a mile away expected food to be warm at least

Ordered a meal from curry pot online at 1640 and the meal was ready just before 1700. Food was excellent. I had Chicken Pakora starter, Chicken Bhuna and my wife had chicken tikka masala both with Pilau rice. Highly recommend the meal was fantastic
